WeChat (微信) is a mobile text and voice messaging service developed by Tencent Holdings Limited in China and launched in 2011. The app is available for Android, iPhone, BlackBerry, and Windows Phone and is the largest social network in China, with over 1 billion users at the end of 2018. WeChat is an important channel for marketing and sales of companies providing goods and services in the Chinese market. Apart from being one of the most popular mobile phone applications in the world, WeChat is a serious competitor to WhatsApp and Viber. It offers numerous features for individual and business users, including video chat, voice chat, SMS, games, QR code scanning, payments of various kinds, and much more.
WeChat allows you to create e-stores and send money to other WeChat registered accounts. You can buy goods and services from machines in China through the Wi-Fi app with active phone payment (movie tickets, train tickets, etc.). Business services are used by creating an official account.
WeChat also offers cross-border payment and e-commerce capabilities in the application itself, allowing transactions via mobile phones via TenPay (analog of PayPal) with official WeChat accounts. For this purpose, payment can be registered through TenPay, which already has offices around the world, including in the UK, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, Malta, France, Russia, the Czech Republic, Italy, Switzerland, Finland, Sweden, Luxembourg.
The WeChat e-store handbook is an invaluable guide for activating business services – accounts, ways to register, pay, and open a bank account in China. Handbook № 4 contains additional information for registration of a company in the PRC, delivery to China by mail, export from Bulgaria, ways to declare import of a shipment from the post office in China.
