The new Master’s program of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”

Agribusiness today is faced with a number of challenges, but also there are a plenty of incredible opportunities for the sector, as a result of the development of new technologies, European and national priorities, and the restructuring of agri-food chains of global and regional level.

In this context, the Master’s program “Innovations and digital transformation of Agribusiness” at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University has the ambition to unite knowledge, expertise and know-how in the preparation of highly qualified specialists.

To make this possible, representatives of science, business and the non-governmental sector join forces in disciplines such as European and national policies, entrepreneurship and innovation, digital transformation, standards and regulations, intellectual property protection, investment and financing – refracted through the prism of agribusiness, as well as agro-food systems and chains, organic farming, rural and agro tourism and others.

The Association for the Promotion of Agricultural Cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries is the main partner of the Master’s Program. The training includes two semesters, during which classroom classes are combined with external visits to a real business environment. More information
