18.06.2018 / “China – CEE Demonstration Zone for Agricultural Cooperation” – Elin Pelin, Bulgaria as a project of the 16+1 Initiative

In June 18-20, 2018 in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China meetings with representatives of “China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Corp.” and “Cepital Concept Limited” were held. The main discussion during the conversation was the upcoming signing of a joint declaration on the promotion and development of “China – CEE Demonstration Zone for Agricultural Cooperation” – Elin Pelin, Bulgaria, as a project of the “16+1” Initiative.

The project aims to deepen the agricultural cooperation between China and the CEE countries and has a projected value of 1.1 billion euros to be invested in the period 2018 to 2022. The joint declaration will be signed at the forthcoming Seventh Meeting of the Heads of Governments of China and the CEECs to be held in Sofia on 7^th of July, 2018.
