15.06.2018 / Participation in a panel discussion on topics of “International Exchange and Cooperation”, “Connecting Cities through Cross-Border E-Commerce”

On June 15, 2018 in Shenzhen, PRC, an Opening Ceremony for the First 616 Global Cross-Border Carnival for E-Commerce was held, followed by a representative tour of the Exhibition given to the Official and distinguished guests, including a visit to the APACCCEEC booth and presentation of the Association’s activities.

The panel discussion on topics of “International Exchange and Cooperation”, “Connecting Cities through Cross-Border E-Commerce” was launched by Mr. Niu Huayong, Dean of the International Business School and Beijing University of Foreign Relations. The organizer of the event was the CityPlus electronic platform for interconnection between cities. Participation was given by Mr. Vasil Gelev, Executive Director ofAPACCCEEC, Mr. Yun Jiang, Representative of the Bahrain Economic Development Board, Mr. Joris Salden, General Consul of Belgium in Guangzhou, Mr. Sue Ziliang, member of the CCP propaganda unit and Mr. Li Yue, chairman of 4PX Express.

Later in the afternoon, Mr. Vasil Gelev held meetings with Top 10 companies for e-commerce, cross-border cooperation and suppliers of services in the field of logistics in Shenzhen.

          On June 16, 2018, Vasil Gelev took part in the First 616 Global Cross-border Carnival for E-Commerce. Hosts of the event were Shenzhen Cross-Border I-Commerce Association, APACCCEEC partners. Together, they jointly presented the newly built Platform for consolidation of agricultural and other producers from China and CEE Countries – www.16plus1cloud.org to the numerous expert audience of the Forum.
