30.12.2020 / The 17+1 Pavilion of APAC enjoys interest in 2020 as well
389 delegations visited the Youth Innovation Center China (Ningbo) – Central and Eastern Europe, where the Liaison office and Pavilion 17+1 of APACCCEEC are located. Of these, 23 are from Europe, Asia, North America and Africa and over 298 Chinese delegations, including 182 private companies, 38 state-owned enterprises, 67 businesses and 73 government delegations. The information was announced by the Youth Center.
In 2020, the Association has repeatedly assisted Bulgarian companies to send samples of their products from the 17+1 Pavilion in Ningbo to various points in the People’s Republic of China, coordinating information and efforts with colleagues at the Youth Innovation Center China (Ningbo) – Central and Eastern Europe.
The products samples inside the 17+1 Pavilion are mostly from companies which have participated on few exhibitions on the territory of PRC and were represented by the Association (the 3rd China International Tea Expo, CITE in Hangzhou, the First China Central and Eastern Europe Expo and The First China-CEEC Expo & International Consumer Goods Fair in Ningbo). After the above-mentioned exhibitions, the products participating in the stand of the Association were transported, arranged and decorated by the employees of APACCCEEC, providing complete information for each individual product, previously collected from the manufacturing companies.
In connection with the recovery from the economic downturn following the COVID-19 pandemic, the Association for the Promotion of Agricultural Cooperation between China and the CEEC has prepared a plan to support farmers and companies from the food industry and agriculture of the countries part of the 17+1 Initiative.
Due to the complicated epidemic situation and the impossibility of companies from Bulgaria and CEE to participate in events in the PRC, APACCCEEC is planning a Samples Campaign with agricultural and other products from Central and Eastern Europe in order to promote products on the Chinese market through their participation in various exhibitions in China in 2021.
The campaign was approved during the Ninth Meeting of the Consultative Board of APACCCEEC on 18th of September 2020. The members of the Board will cooperate in the implementation of the initiative, with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the PRC.
