26.06.2023 / First CEE Culinary Days Fest organized by APACCCEEC

APACCCEEC organized successfully the pilot edition of the “CEE Culinary Days Fest” in the period 24th – 25th of June at the Pancharevo Lake in Sofia, along with the Dragon Boat Festival.

Exhibitors from Central and Eastern Europe presented traditional foods and drinks under the common tent of the APACCCEEC with the participation of companies from Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Greece, Serbia, etc.

This is the first initiative of that type that the APACCCEEC is organizing. The guests of the Festival had the opportunity to taste unique dishes, spices, drinks and other products from Central and Eastern Europe. APACCCEEC will continue to promote the traditional cuisine of each CEE country in the next editions of the Culinary Festival.

During the two-day festival, in addition to dragon boats competition and traditional music, a lot of pavilions were presented, including workshops for traditional crafts, Chinese foods and drinks, Chinese language and culture, calligraphy, martial arts, and many more. The APACCCEEC’s team had the opportunity to follow the official opening ceremony and the competition with the beautiful dragon boats, which were a big attraction among the visitors.

The culinary exhibition was visited by hundreds of people who had the opportunity to enjoy the gastronomic culture of CEE countries. The Director of the APACCCEEC, Mr. Momchil Stanishev, welcomed and presented to guests from the diplomatic missions from China, Romania, Moldova, Indonesia, etc., the pilot Festival and showed them interesting culinary creations of the exhibitors.
