28.02.2019 / Compassionate citizens supported APACCCEEC’s Charity Initiative
From the charity sale of greenhouse flowers in pots, organized on February 27 and 28 this year at the 16+1 Demonstration Center at the Agricultural University in Plovdiv and in front of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry in the capital, 2696, 46 BGN (two thousand six hundred ninety six leva and forty six stotinki) and 5 (five) Euro were collected. The funds were transferred to an account that raised money for the emergency operation of 5-year-old Vyara, the daughter of a colleague, Lyuben Yusev, an expert at the Executive Forest Agency. The child is diagnosed with nephroblastoma, and is facing costly treatment. The surgery and several chemotherapy courses cost over 70,000 euros, which the girl’s family is struggling to provide.
The team of the Association for the Promotion of Agricultural Cooperation between China and the CEE countries thanked all the compassionate and noble people who bought spring flowers from the charity sale.
