29.04.2024 / APACCCEC team visited a manufacturer of Bulgarian rose cosmetic products in the Plovdiv region
On April 26, 2024, the Director of APACCCEEC Dr. Momchil Stanishev and his team visited the production base of a company – manufacturer of cosmetic products from natural ingredients, based in the Plovdiv region.
The representatives of the company pointed out that they are already present on the Chinese market, where they have registered about ten of their brands, and that they have developed a web page in Chinese. The owners of the company also presented a company set up together with a partner from China, which focuses on the production and marketing of perfume and cosmetic products, tea, beverages, wine, etc.
Dr. Stanishev and the APACCCEC team were introduced to the company’s modern rose oil distillation facilities. The company also maintains its own rose and chamomile plantations. Organic products from the company’s cosmetic range were also presented.
During the meeting, the potential channels for the promotion of Bulgarian goods in China were discussed, including promotion through the social networks. Dr. Stanishev presented some of APACCCEC’s current initiatives, among which is the possibility for Central and Eastern European (CEE) companies to provide samples for the upcoming opening of a new Permanent Pavilion in the city of Ningbo, China, where Central and Eastern European products in the agricultural and related sub-sectors will be displayed in a permanent exhibition to showcase them locally.
After the meeting, the company’s management visited the APACCCEC’s Logistics Hub and Pavilion for Agricultural and other Products, which is located near Plovdiv, within the Maritsa Industrial Zone. The Director of APACCCEC introduced the guests to the products exhibited in the hall and explained that Bulgarian companies can also provide their samples for this Logistics Hub, which is similar to the Permanent Pavilion in Ningbo and provides another opportunity for CEE and Chinese companies to present their food and beverage products.
