17.05.2023 / The APACCCEEC Pavilion at the 3rd China-CEE Expo and International Consumer Goods Fair in Ningbo, China attracted thousands of visitors

Тhe “Win-Win Award” honored the contribution of the APACCCEEC to cooperation between CEE countries and China

In the period May 16-20, 2023, APACCCEEC is participating in the 3rd China-CEE Exhibition and International Consumer Goods Fair in Ningbo, China. With its own pavilion, the APACCCEEC presents 7 companies from the agricultural and food sector from Bulgaria and CEE, as among them are businesses dealing with wines and spirits beverages, food, online store and a cosmetics products.

The China-CEE is organized and sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of China, the Municipal Government of Ningbo City and the Government of Zhejiang Province, China. The purpose of the exhibition is to promote among the Chinese business spheres and consumers with products from the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, as well as to provide possibilities for joint investments, cooperation, technological and trade improvement. Hundreds of exhibitors from the CEE region are also participating in the exhibition.

On May 16th, the Official Opening Ceremony of the International Exhibition was held, bringing together representatives of the business and academic circles from CEE and China at one place. Welcome greetings were given by organizers and partners, including the Municipal Government of Ningbo, the Embassy of Serbia in PCR, the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency. During the ceremony numerous bilateral contracts for import and export of agricultural and consumer goods were also signed between companies from CEE and China.

Dr. Momchil Stanishev received for the APACCCEEC “Win-Win Award” at the Third China-CEE Exhibition and International Consumer Goods Fair for excellent cooperation and providing business support between the CEE countries and China.

Before the Third China-CEE Expo on May 15th as a side event “The Taste of Zhejiang and CEE – Culinary Cultural Exchange” was held. The event was conducted in front of the eyes of thousands of local citizens and guests of Ningbo, including exhibitors and partners from the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. The official part presented the benefits of cooperation between the countries in the gastro-culture, with Hungary and its culinary art as a country in focus.

The Expo will continue until 20th of May, as various side events are planned to happen, such as: ,,Gathering of agricultural cooperation between China and the Central and Eastern European countries’’, Think tank forum ,,China- CEE’’, “Meeting of the Chinese investing organizations from CEE”, Conference for investing and cooperation opportunities between China and CEE countries and many more.
