On October 27, 2025, participants in the Seminar on Rose Industry, Innovations and Cosmetics departed for China.

The seminar is organized by APACCCEEC in partnership with the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Sofia and the Yunnan International Center for Economic and Technical Exchange.

The seminar will be attended by 28 representatives from companies in the rose production and cosmetics sector, academia in the field of rose research and agribusiness, agricultural media, as well as governmental and non-governmental sectors. During the 14-day seminar, the participants are scheduled to visit the cities of Kunming, Nanning, Ningbo, and Shanghai and, through a series of lectures and site visits, learn about a variety of topics related to innovation and industrialization in the Chinese rose seed production industry, development strategies and market prospects for the Chinese rose processing industry, analysis of Chinese rose products and markets, techniques and innovations in the sector, and more.

In Ningbo the participants will visit the Liaison Office of APACCCEEC and the Permanent Pavilion of CEE countries. In Nanning they will take part in an exhibition on smart agriculture, and in Shanghai they will visit the 8th China International Import Expo. The participants will have the opportunity to establish contacts with Chinese companies and learn more about the sector in China.

The official send-off of the Bulgarian participants at Vasil Levski Sofia Airport was attended by Dr. Momchil Stanishev, Director of APACCCEEC, Ms. Iva Venkova and Mr. Zahari Zahariev, experts at the Association, as well as Mr. Ma Huncheng, First Secretary at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Sofia, and Ms. Wang Chenxi, Attaché.
