23.10.2025 / APACCCEEC and the EU SME Centre are Organizing a Hybrid Webinar on Exporting Cosmetics to China
APACCCEEC has the pleasure to invite you to a webinar “Exporting Cosmetics to China: Challenges and Opportunities”, to be held on Wednesday, November 26th, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM (Eastern European Time) and 4:00 PM (China Standard Time).
The webinar is being organized by APACCCEEC in partnership with the EU SME Centre as the first cooperation event between both organizations. In their capacity of entities that share the common goal of supporting companies who export to the Chinese market, in September 2025 APACCCEEC and the EU SME Centre signed a MoU (Letter of Intent), through which they declare their desire to design and implement joint activities that create synergies and promote SMEs interested in doing business in China.
The webinar will be in a hybrid format and will take place online (Zoom) and offline, at the Demonstration Zone of Agricultural Cooperation between China and the CEE Countries, located at the premises of Agricultural University – Plovdiv.
The main focus of the webinar will be the characteristics of the Chinese cosmetics market and the requirements which exporters must meet when entering the market. China’s imports of cosmetics have increased over the past decade, totaling EUR 12 billion in 2024. Cosmetics thus presents a number of opportunities but also numerous challenges. The current event will be comprised of 4 main sessions: introduction to the Chinese cosmetics market; success stories; regulatory requirements; intellectual property rights. The event will aim to provide businesses and other stakeholders interested in the topic with insightful and useful information as well as practical guidance about the market and on navigating critical issues. The participants will have the opportunity to ask their questions through a dedicated Q&A session. A draft agenda is attached.
