04.02.2026 / The EU SME Centre is organizing an online event on February 12
We are pleased to inform businesses about an upcoming online event (webinar) “The E-Commerce Series: Selling to China via JD Worldwide,” organized by the EU SME Centre and the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, which will take place on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Bulgarian time (9:00 a.m. Central European Time and 4:00 p.m. Chinese time) via Zoom.
This is the second event of a series of webinars organized by the EU SME Centre and the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce dedicated to cross-border e-commerce (CBEC).
With its specific features, the cross-border e-commerce channel can allow European SMEs, including food and beverage companies, to introduce their products to the Chinese market more quickly and at a lower cost. CBEC enables European small and medium-sized enterprises to sell to Chinese consumers directly through specialised platforms. China has a “Positive List” of goods allowed to be imported into China through the cross-border e-commerce channel, which is mostly comprised of consumer goods, including food and beverage products.
The upcoming webinar will focus on the Chinese e-commerce platform JD Worldwide and will provide expert advice on how to set up and run an e-store on the platform. The event is free and will be held in English.
More information about the topic to be covered and the content of the webinar, as well as about the opportunity to participate, is available here: https://www.eusmecentre.org.cn/events/the-e-commerce-series-selling-on-jd-worldwide/
