/ The Seventh Summit in the format for Cooperation between China and CEEC

The Seventh Summit in the Initiative for Cooperation between China and CEEC and the accompanying Business Forum were held on July 7, 2018 in the National Palace of Culture, Bulgaria. The Summit of the China-Central and Eastern European Cooperation Group brought together the heads of government of 16 European countries and Chinese Premier Li Keqiang. In this year’s framework, Bulgaria and China identified four potential priority areas for economic cooperation in 2018:

High technologies, investments, industrial partnership, joint ventures;

Infrastructure;

Agriculture;

Tourism.

Within the framework of the Seventh Meeting of the Heads of Government, the “Demonstration Zone of Cooperation in the Field of Agriculture between China and the CEE Countries” was officially opened by Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov and his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang. Many Chinese delegates visited Sofia in the period July 1-15 and announced their participation in the “China-CEE” Business Forum, within the Seventh Meeting of the Heads of Government of China and CEE. APACCCEEC welcomed and coordinated the activities of the guests from the PRC, organizing their stay and meetings in the capital.
