ACTIVE PROJECT
Established in 2017 as the “Logistics Hub and E-commerce Pavilion for Agricultural and Other Products,” the Hub for Agricultural and Other Products is located near the city of Plovdiv, within the Trakia Economic Zone (TEZ), specifically in the “Maritsa” Industrial Zone.
The hub provides an opportunity for companies in the food, beverage, and cosmetics sectors from Central and Eastern Europe to display samples of their products. The demonstration space already features a wide range of samples from CEE countries: confectionery and baked goods, soft drinks, wine, beer, tea, vegetable oils, baby food, and canned foods (lyutenitsa, ajvar, fruits, vegetables), among many others.
Starting in the spring of 2025, a campaign has been underway to update the exhibition space by adding new samples from Central and Eastern Europe.
Over the years, the Hub near Plovdiv has been visited by a number of delegations from China, including a delegation from Shanxi Province in 2019, a delegation from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) in 2023, among others. In 2024, representatives from a company that manufactures rose-based products in the Plovdiv area visited the Hub and viewed the cosmetics sector samples on display there.
