07.03.2018 / Meeting between representatives of Beijing Genomics Institute and Agricultural University- Plovdiv

On March 7, 2018 in Shenzhen a meeting was held between representatives of BGI Millet and Agricultural University- Plovdiv. The parties agreed to continue working on a joint project of BGI Millet and Agricultural University -Plovdiv for the cultivation of foxtail millet in Bulgaria as part of APACCCEEC Project “16+1 Modern Agricultural Demonstration Park”.

As a follow-up to the joint work on the project, the parties agreed at a future stage to sign a memorandum/joint declaration on a student exchange program. The program was proposed to be two years of training at the Agricultural University- Plovdiv and two years at the Beijing Genomics Institute (BGI).
