APACCCEEC team extends its warmest greetings to the citizens and residents of China, as well as to all Chinese friends and partners in Bulgaria, on the occasion of the National Day of China, celebrated on October 1. This year marks the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.

On October 1, 1949, at Tiananmen Square in Beijing, the Proclamation of the People’s Republic of China was officially declared, establishing the PRC and introducing the current national flag of China, known as the “Five-star Red Flag.” The day symbolizes the beginning of the modern Chinese state and holds great significance in the country’s history.

An important part of the National Day celebrations is the flag-raising ceremony at Tiananmen Square — the place where the PRC was founded 76 years ago. Traditionally held in the morning of October 1, this year’s ceremony gathered more than 120,000 visitors from all across China, who witnessed the program accompanied by the national anthem, March of the Volunteers, and celebrated this historic occasion together.

The National Day of the PRC also marks the beginning of the so-called “Golden Week,” lasting until October 8, which is one of the longest holiday periods in China during the year. Traditionally, this is also the peak travel season within the country, with more than 219 million passengers expected to use the Chinese railways — a new record in railway transportation. A significant increase in consumer spending is also observed, making the National Day an important driver of economic growth for the country.

In October 2025, we also celebrate 76 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and China. Only three days after the founding of the People’s Republic of China, on October 4, 1949, Bulgaria became the second country in the world to officially recognize it.

在10月1日中华人民共和国国庆日之际，中国-中东欧国家农业合作促进联合（APACCCEEC）团队向全体中国人民、全球华人同胞，以及我们在保加利亚的所有中国朋友与合作伙伴致以最诚挚的节日祝贺！今年，我们共同庆祝中华人民共和国成立76周年。

1949年10月1日，在北京天安门广场上，《中华人民共和国中央人民政府公告》庄严宣读，宣告新中国诞生，并正式确定了以”五星红旗”为名的中国国旗。这一天标志着新中国历史的开端，对中华民族具有划时代的重大意义。

国庆庆祝活动中最具象征意义的环节是天安门广场的升旗仪式——正是在76年前的同一地点，中华人民共和国宣告成立。仪式传统于10月1日清晨举行，今年汇聚了来自全国各地的逾12万名群众，在《义勇军进行曲》的雄壮旋律中观礼，共同庆祝这一重要时刻。

中国国庆节开启了为期七天的”黄金周”假期，持续至10月8日，这是中国每年最长的假期之一。传统上这也是国内旅游高峰，预计铁路客运量将突破2.19亿人次，创下轨道交通客运新纪录。同时消费市场也呈现显著增长，国庆节为中国经济发展注入了强劲动力。

值得关注的是，2025年10月我们还将共同庆祝中保建交76周年。在中华人民共和国成立仅三天后的1949年10月4日，保加利亚成为全球第二个正式承认新中国的国家，这为两国源远流长的友谊奠定了坚实基础。
