11.11.2025 / Happy Independence Day, Poland! Szczęśliwego Dnia Niepodległości, Polsko!
On November 11, Poland celebrates its national holiday – the Independence Day. On this day in 1918, the Polish state regained its sovereignty after more than a century of foreign rule. On the day World War I ended, Poland returned to the political map of Europe as an independent republic. This success was achieved not only with weapons, but also through constant diplomatic efforts and complex negotiations with other countries.
Traditionally, Independence Day is celebrated with an annual parade (Independence March) through the streets of Warsaw, attracting more than 100,000 participants who wave the Polish flag, sing the national anthem, and celebrate the free spirit of their country. High-ranking political representatives lay flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the center of the Polish capital.
Today, Poland has the largest economy among Central and Eastern European countries, with a nominal GDP of US$1.039 trillion for 2025, and is among the most significant exporters of a range of agricultural products in the region. The country is experiencing impressive economic growth thanks to rapidly developing exports, a well-educated workforce, and a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
APACCCEEC team extends its warmest greetings to the people of Poland, as well as to all Polish friends and partners in Bulgaria! Szczęśliwego Dnia Niepodległości, Polsko!
