10.11.2025 / APACCCEEC held “Discover Bulgaria” business forum in Ningbo, attended by the Bulgarian delegation in the Seminar on Rose Industry, Innovations and Cosmetics
On November 8, 2025, a Bulgarian-Chinese business forum in the cosmetics industry was held at the Liaison Office and Permanent Pavilion of APACCCEEC in Ningbo. The event “Discover Bulgaria Ningbo – Bulgaria Cosmetics Industry Matchmaking and Exchange” brought together nearly 80 representatives from Bulgaria and China from the business community, administrations, chambers, and industry associations.
The event was jointly organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade – Ningbo (CCPIT Ningbo) with the assistance of the Yinzhou District Trade Association and the Chinese Cultural Center in Sofia, as well as with the support of the Jianbei District Trade Office in Ningbo.
During the official part of the forum, Mr. Yen Wei Guo, Chairman of CCPIT Ningbo, introduced the participants in the Forum to the activities of the Chamber, as well as to the current situation in the cosmetics sector, drawing attention to the prospects for bilateral trade cooperation. In his speech, he also highlighted and congratulated APACCCEEC on the newly – inaugurated Liaison Office and Permanent Pavilion in Ningbo in May this year.
Dr. Momchil Stanishev, Director of APACCCEEC, expressed his gratitude to the hosts from Ningbo for their excellent cooperation in organizing the business forum and congratulated the business representatives of both countries. In his speech, he pointed out that the Liaison Office and Permanent Pavilion in Ningbo, which is already developing its potential, is a platform for creating real opportunities for CEE businesses in F&B sector, cosmetics, and related sectors to establish contacts with Chinese distributors, buyers, and partners. The speech also drew attention to products from Bulgaria that are of serious interest to the Chinese side. Dr. Stanishev emphasized that in order to build on the good trade relations between CEE countries and China, Ningbo offers excellent opportunities for business, transport, and distribution of goods, and is a gateway for business from Central and Eastern Europe to China. With a view to strengthening bilateral business cooperation between Bulgaria and Ningbo, the Director of APACCCEEC invited a delegation from CCPIT Ningbo to visit Bulgaria, during which a business forum would also be held.
The event proceeded with individual presentations by Bulgarian and Chinese participants in the Forum, with each participant presenting their company’s activities, products, and services. The Bulgarian and Chinese companies presented their product characteristics, technological advantages, and market strategies. The Bulgarian side showed a rich portfolio, including rose skin care products, essential oils, and body care products, demonstrating the strong industrial resources and professionalism of the industry. The Chinese companies shared their experience in building market channels, research and development capabilities, and competitive business services, which established a foundation for future cooperation.
The bilateral meetings during the forum created real opportunities for establishing new business contacts.
During their visit to Ningbo, the Bulgarian delegation had the opportunity to learn about the activities of the cosmetics company YOFOTO Health Industry Co., which manufactures a range of products promoting a healthy lifestyle, including food, cosmetics, and clothing.
