10.03.2025 / APACCCEEC participated with a Pavilion during the international exhibition FOOD EXPO 2025 in Athens, Greece

In the period 8 – 10 March 2025, the 11th edition of the international F&B exhibition FOOD EXPO took place in Athens, Greece. The forum is organized annually by FORUM S.A. and is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food of the Hellenic Republic; the Federation of Hellenic Food Industry and the Greek Wine Federation. Throughout the years, FOOD EXPO has become the leading F&B exhibition in Southeastern Europe, attracting around 35,000 visitors.
The official opening ceremony of FOOD EXPO 2025 was held on March 8th and was attended by the Minister of Rural Development and Food of the Hellenic Republic, Mr. Konstantinos Tsiaras, President & CEO of FORUM S.A., Mr. Thanasis Panagoulias, as well as ambassadors from Albania, North Macedonia, Slovakia and Hungary.
More than 1300 exhibitors from 36 different countries participated at the exhibition, including delegates from Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Poland, North Macedonia, Slovakia, Serbia, Hungary, Turkey, Italy, France, Thailand and many others.
Regional, national and international Pavilions were placed in Hall 1, where manufacturers of a wide range of products were represented. As part of FOOD EXPO 2025, the OENOTELIA wine and spirits exhibition was also held in this hall. OENOTELIA provided visitors with the opportunity to taste a selection of different wine varieties.
The exhibition area in Hall 2 of Metropolitan Expo was reserved for producers of meat products and fish, frozen foods, as well as fresh fruits and vegetables. Side events, such as workshops on cooking traditional Greek foods (gyros and souvlaki) and a seminar on olive oil production were also organized in Hall 2.
Dairy products, vegetable oils, bread & bakery, as well as vegetarian and healthy foods were presented in Hall 3, while in Hall 4 coffee, soft drinks and confectionery producers exhibited their products.
APACCCEEC participated at FOOD EXPO 2025 with its own Pavilion, located in Hall 1 of Metropolitan Expo. 14 Bulgarian companies from the F&B industry and cosmetics presented their products on the Pavilion. The companies at APACCCEEC’s Pavilion were producers of: rose cosmetic products; pasta, sauces and canned foods; honey and other bee products; confectionery (jams, waffles, popcorn, artisan chocolate, candy); non-alcoholic and non-carbonated beverages; gluten-free, vegan, and keto products; oak barrels; raw nuts and nut-based products; and hot pepper products.
On March 8, APACCCEEC Pavilion was visited by Mr. Johanes Krikorian, Counsellor, Head of Commercial and Economic Section at the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Athens. He familiarized himself with the activities of the Bulgarian participants and committed to providing additional assistance for promoting their products on the Greek market. Furthermore, representatives from the 14 companies at the APACCCEEC Pavilion had the opportunity to conduct B2B meetings and establish valuable contacts with dozens of buyers, distributors, and clients as part of the exhibition’s Hosted Buyers Program.
During the exhibition Mr. Zahari Zahariev, Expert at APACCCEEC, met with other exhibitors from Bulgaria and the CEE countries, including producers of vegetable oils, juices, dried fruits, traditional Greek foods.
