/ 18 Bulgarian companies participate with samples of their products at Shanghai EXPO and at China International Agricultural Trade Fair

The Association for the Promotion of Agricultural Cooperation between China and the Central and Eastern European (APACCCEEC) participates in the Second International Import Expo, which takes place from November 5 to 10 in Shanghai. With products from 18 Bulgarian companies, most of them presented at the Third International Tea Exhibition in Hangzhou and First China – CEE EXPO in Ningbo, held earlier this year, the Association will show native production. Samples of Bulgarian goods will be exhibited for visitors and the Shanghai EXPO.

The spectacular fair, set up at the initiative of Chinese President Xi Jinping, is aimed entirely at manufacturers and exporters of goods from around the world. For the second time, the Shanghai EXPO seeks to strike a balance in China’s international trade. Visitors will see the latest achievements of high-tech industrial equipment, consumer electronics and appliances, cars, clothing, accessories and consumer goods, food and agricultural products, medical technology and healthcare, emerging technologies, service outsourcing, creative design, culture and education, tourism, logistics services.

From November 15 to 18, the Association will as well join another major event, the China International Agricultural Trade Fair (CATF), which will be held in Nanchang, Jiangxi. The organizers of the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of PRC, provide the APACCCEEC with free of charge fully furnished and decorated exhibition space.

The exhibition sponsored and organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China and the local government of Jiangxi Province will be held at the International Expo Center – Nanchang. The exhibition area of over 140,000 m2 and the usual over 400,000 visitors make it the most influential agricultural trade fair. In 2018, 4,000 enterprises from 40 countries and 16,000 product types took part in it. Agricultural, material, technology and product deals for nearly 33.7 billion Chinese yuan (about $ 5 billion) were concluded during last year’s edition. More than 50,000 agricultural product managers and wholesalers from Russia, Chile, Kazakhstan, India, USA, India, Turkey, Australia, Indonesia and China were among the visitors.

Exhibition areas include an exhibition hall for cereals and oils of vegetable origin, animal husbandry and poultry, the Aqua Exhibition Hall, fruits and vegetables, an exhibit hall for urban agriculture, for digital agriculture, an exhibition of agricultural products, an international exhibition area, services, culture – sculpture, China’s traditional paper-cutting and shadow-making, rice-paper production, ceramics, television creativity, poetry, a large-scale exhibit area for businesses that will feature the 100 largest agricultural enterprises in China.
With its proven track record, promoting trade with a focus on the brand of agricultural products, with the participation of leading enterprises from China and abroad, aiming at trade exchange and cooperation, with the exchange of science and technology, the Nanchang Exhibition is held for the 17th time, becoming China’s most authoritative and influential platform for the quality of domestic and international agricultural trade.
