The guide is intended for foreign businessmen, aiming to facilitate their adaptation to a fulfilling life and work in China. The material is divided into four sections covering a range of key topics, including: address registration, purchasing and using Chinese SIM and bank cards, obtaining residence and work permits, making mobile payments, and paying individual income taxes.

The edition also provides information on the country’s social security system, the exchange of Chinese yuan (RMB), visa-free stays for foreign nationals, and options for extending a visa. It offers details for transportation options within the country and the cities, including rail, air, bus, and metro services.
