The Association has been actively working and continues to work to assist the opening of national pavilions of the 16 CEE countries in free trade zones in China, in which the CEE countries will display samples of their agricultural and food products.
In October 2015 there was opened a Bulgarian National Pavilion in the Hangzhou Comprehensive Cross-Border Pilot Zone in which are being displayed 800 kg of samples of agricultural and food products produced by 30 Bulgarian companies.
In August 2016 there was opened a Bulgarian National Pavilion in the China /Shanghai/ Pilot Free Trade Zone in which are being displayed 2 500 kg of samples of agricultural and food products produced by more than 40 Bulgarian companies.
In the beginning of November 2016 the Republic of North Macedonia opened its National pavilion in the China /Shanghai/ Pilot Free Trade Zone.
The Bulgarian Rose Pavilion was opened in 2016 at the China /Shanghai/ Pilot Free Trade Zone. The expansion of business cooperation between the two countries in the field of rose products helps directly boost the economy and trade cooperation.
