/ Invitation: A Forthcoming Seminar for Producers Interested in Exporting to China

APACCCEEC has the pleasure to invite you to a Seminar: Registration of F&B and Customs Clearance of Cosmetics for Export to China. The seminar will take place on 1 July 2026 (Wednesday) starting at 10:00 a.m. at TEZ Event Center (Trakia Economic Zone, Naydenovi Gerencheta Area, District 79, 4204 Plovdiv, Bulgaria).

The event is organized by the Association for the Promotion of Agricultural Cooperation between China and CEE countries (APACCCEEC) at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Bulgaria, with the support of Trakia Economic Zone and the Plovdiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry / Enterprise Europe Network – Plovdiv.

The seminar is being held on the occasion of the visit to the Republic of Bulgaria of a Chinese delegation from Ningbo Customs District.

During the event, presentations will be delivered by representatives of the China-CEEC Customs Information Center, based in Ningbo, People’s Republic of China. The Center is sponsored by the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC) and managed by Ningbo Customs District P.R. China.

As of 1 June 2026, the Regulations of General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China on the Registration and Administration of Overseas Manufacturers of Imported Food take effect. The seminar aims to provide food and beverage manufacturers interested in exporting to China with information about the current regulations and the requirements that must be met in order to export to China, as well as to clarify in particular the procedures for completing the required prior registration with the GACC.

The following topics will be presented during the event:

  • Rules and regulations for the GACC registration of overseas food manufacturing enterprises for import in China
  • Customs clearance process for cosmetics products in China and oversight of cosmetics products
  • Demonstrations of registering through the CIFER system – for a food and beverage manufacturer

The event is intended for companies interested in exporting to China from the following sectors: food; beverages; food supplements; cosmetics; essential oils.

During the Q&A Session, the attendees will have the opportunity to ask specific questions.

The seminar will be held in Chinese and Bulgarian, with consecutive interpretation, and requires prior registration.

The China-CEEC Customs Information Center under the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China was officially inaugurated in 2021 and aims to support cooperation between China and the CEECs, boost economic and trade exchanges, and streamline the customs clearance process, primarily through the establishment of three platforms: a communication and exchange platform that provides information on the latest laws, regulations, and policies and promotes exchanges on customs and quarantine laws, regulations and policy measures between China and CEE; a consultation service platform that aims to respond to obstacles and difficulties concerning cargo clearance and market access for agricultural and food products; a monitoring and early warning platform that provides information on China-CEEC trade dynamics and publishes monitoring and early warning articles.
