We are pleased to inform our business partners regarding an upcoming opportunity for a working visit in China, organized by the EU SME Centre.

To support the internationalisation of European SMEs to China, the EU SME Centre is organising a business mission in mid-April 2026. During the visit, the EU SME Centre Pavilion at the sixth edition of the China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) will be attended. The exhibition will be held from 13 to 18 April 2026 in Haikou in the southern Chinese province of Hainan. The event is one of the largest consumer goods exhibitions in the world, with the participation of 1,500 companies from 150 countries and regions.

In addition to the participation in the Hainan Expo, the 2026 SME Business Mission will include further activities in Shenzhen, such as site visits, B2B matchmaking sessions, market briefings and networking opportunities. The full programme will be published soon.

The EU SME Centre does NOT cover participants’ accommodation, food, and travel expenses to/from China, and the costs for one participant are expected to be around €2,750–3,500. This call for applications is open to all employees and representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises and start-ups in the EU from a range of sectors, including food, beverages, and cosmetics.

If you would like to join the delegation, you can register at the following link by Friday, February 13, 2026: https://www.eusmecentre.org.cn/event-registration/?event_id=19824

In September 2025, APACCCEEC and the EU SME Centre signed a MoU, based on which both sides will be able to cooperate with a view to achieving greater value added of their activities. The current webinar is the first joint event of both organisations.
