02.11.2024 / APACCCEEC participated with pavilion during the international exhibition INDAGRA FOOD 2024 in Bucharest
From October 30 to November 3 the largest agricultural exhibition in Romania – INDAGRA FOOD 2024 – was held at the ROMEXPO exhibition center in Bucharest.
The exhibition attracts hundreds of exhibitors from all over the world, and this year’s edition was attended by representatives from Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, China, South Korea, Lithuania, Moldova, Turkey, Italy, Indonesia, Kenya and other countries. Among the sectors represented at the exhibition were food and beverages (fruits, vegetables, seeds, juices, dairy products), cosmetics, kitchen equipment, electronics, innovations, agricultural machinery.
The visitors were attracted by the latest achievements and innovations in the production of different agricultural equipment, tractors, drones. In the same period, a parallel exhibition of farm animals (horses, cattle and poultry) was held.
APACCCEEC participated at INDAGRA FOOD 2024 with its own Pavilion, where 10 companies from the F&B industry and cosmetics presented their products.
The companies at APACCCEEC’s Pavilion were: wine producer; vegetable oil company; company; producer of honey and other bee products; company for rose products, essential and vegetable oils, face and hand creams; company, producing canned fruits, vegetables and spreads; producer of chamomile, lavender and peppermint tea; an artisan chocolate company; a pasta and sauce company; a gourmet products company and a manufacturer of nut and peanut butter products.
INDAGRA FOOD 2024 provides the opportunity for participating companies to meet distributors, traders, consumers and other exhibitors, thus helping them to build an active network in Romania and to discover new partners in the region.
During the exhibition Dr. Momchil Stanishev, Director of APACCCEEC, held meetings with Mr. Ivaylo Marinov, Head of Commercial and Economic Section at the Embassy of the Repubic of Bulgaria in Bucharest and Mr. Doru Dragomir, President of the Bilateral Chamber of Commerce Bulgaria-Romania. Dr. Stanishev also met with representatives of the Bulgarian Greenhouse Growers Association, the Union of Danube Fruit Growers and other exhibitors from Bulgaria and Romania.
Several side events were held within the exhibition. For example, during the Grillfest Barbeque Conference on October 31, experts in the field discussed the current situation in the sector, the challenges and how using modern technologies can improve the quality of the final product. Also, a demonstration of grilling raw meat was performed.
On the penultimate day of the exhibition, Bulgarian wine tasting was held at the APACCCEEC Pavilion, which fascinated visitors and exhibitors.
