APACCCEEC is pleased to inform you that Business at OECD (BIAC) is organizing a Forum ‘Agriculture Sustainability and Green Growth in China’, which will be held in a hybrid format – at the OECD Conference Centre in Paris, France and virtually via Zoom.

The Forum on Agriculture Sustainability and Green Growth in China seeks to establish a significant platform for constructive dialogue and collaboration among industry leaders and stakeholders, spotlighting innovation and sustainable solutions to exchange on China’s Green Development, while also addressing current policy challenges and opportunities associated with innovation and Regenerative Agriculture. Key outputs include building awareness, showcasing, and discussing industry initiatives and partnerships contributing to Green Growth in Chinese agriculture, as well as paving the way for further dialogue between China and OECD to support China’s Green Development on the international stage, with a focus on agriculture’s role.

Confirmed speakers include Jochem Wiers, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Netherlands to the OECD; Jo Tyndall, OECD Environment Director; Jian Guang Shen, Vice President and Chief Economist, JD Digits (Chinese company), Barbara Wang, General Manager, Hongyi Grain Cooperative (farmer from China); representatives of the OECD Trade and Agriculture Directorate, Academia, think thanks and private sector representatives.

The Forum will take place on 25 June (Tuesday) from 09:00 to 16:00 (CET).
