11.06.2021 / The China-CEEC Expo & International Consumer Goods Fair has deepened CEE-China cooperation

The 2^nd China-CEEC Expo & International Consumer Goods Fair was held from 8 to 11 June 2021 in Ningbo, China. In 2019, it was raised to the national level and was renamed from the “International Exhibition for Investment and Trade between China and Central and Eastern Europe” to the “China-CEE Exhibition and International Consumer Goods Fair”.

The exhibition includes categories such as alcohol, food and beverages, cosmetics and personal care products, household products, innovative technologies and more.

The organizers thoroughly implement the spirits of the 2021 China-CEE Leaders’ Summit, and closely focus on building a high-quality China-CEEC demonstration zone for trade and economic cooperation, to promote the mutual cooperation and the integration of online and offline development, thus deepening trade, investment and cultural exchanges and cooperation with CEE countries in a wider range, broader field and at a higher level, and further developing the Expo into a preferred platform for practical cooperation between China and the CEE countries and an important channel for China to integrate into the European economic circle.

Within the 2nd China-CEEC Expo & International Consumer Goods Fair, on June 9, at 3 pm Beijing time, in Ningbo, China, the 10th Consultative Board Meeting of the Association was held online. Vasil Gelev, Director of APACCCEEC and Chairman of the Consultative Board, welcomed the participants in the meeting and reported on the work of the Association for the period October 2020 – June 2021. The meeting was attended by China and 10 countries from Central and Eastern Europe. Each representative had the opportunity to speak on all topics in theagenda and share successes in the development of cooperation of the respective country with China.

The partners received information on the progress of the work of the Association for the Promotion of Agricultural Cooperation between China and the CEE Countries, the opening opportunities for CEE in the saffron industry – part of the Association’s Project in Sofia. Details have become known about the emerging platform for the agricultural supply chain.
