The team of the APACCCEEC took part virtually in the forum “Nice to CEE you” Ningbo Festival for Promoting China-CEEC Trade and Cooperation” on June 8. The Festival was organised in the place of the postponed China-CEEC Expo & International Consumer Goods Fair, which was scheduled to take place in the period 17-22.05.2022, Ningbo, China.

The participation of the Association in the Expo is included in the Annual Plan of the APACCCEEC for 2022.

The opening ceremony included speeches by Mr. Li Guanding, Deputy Mayor of Ningbo, H.E. Mr. Dusan Bella, Ambassador of the Republic of Slovakia to the PRC, Mr. Vladislav Spasov, Consul General of the Republic of Bulgaria in Ningbo, Mr. Szilard Bolla, Consul General of Hungary in Shanghai, Mr. Zhang Yadong Director of Ningbo CEEC Expo, Mr. Wu Zhenping, Director of the Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce of the PRC, Mr. Shi Qiqi, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province and Ms. Mira Lesjak, Head of the Consulate of the Republic of Slovenia in Shanghai.

B2B meetings were held between representatives of businesses, industry organizations, and institutions from CEE and China in various sectors.

The e-commerce platform for imported commodities “Haituogou” was officially launched during the online event. The conference was attended by Chinese companies interested in cooperation with their CEE counterparts in the food and agriculture sectors.

In the third panel of the Festival, Dr. Momchil Stanishev, Director of the Association for the Promotion of Agricultural Cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries (APACCCEEC), presented the activities of the Association, took part in a bilateral meeting with representatives of the Procurement Alliance of CEEC Commodity in which they discussed opportunities for future cooperation and a platform for business offers for agricultural commodities from CEE.
