ACTIVE PROJECT
APACCCEEC organizes training seminars for CEE participants in China, focusing on various current topics in the agricultural sector. The seminars include several modules: lectures, during which participants learn about the theoretical aspects of the relevant topic; on-site visits (e.g., laboratories, greenhouses, research and development centers), visits to current events taking place during the period (e.g., international exhibitions), as well as a visit to the APACCCEEC Liaison Office and Permanent Pavilion in Ningbo, China. Participants have the opportunity to meet with local experts in the sector and exchange knowledge and experience.
Participants must meet the specified criteria; places in the seminars are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

In the period October 28 – November 12, 2025, a seminar on rose production, innovation, and cosmetics was held. The seminar was focused on the following topics: the development of rose production in China, the cosmetics industry, and the innovative technologies in the sector.
The seminar is attended by 28 Bulgarian representatives from companies in the rose production and cosmetics sectors, academia in the fields of rose research and agribusiness, agricultural media, as well as the government and non-governmental sectors.
During the 14-day seminar, the participants visit the cities of Kunming, Nanning, Ningbo, and Shanghai, and through a series of lectures and field visits, they learn about a variety of topics related to innovation and industrialization in China’s rose seed production industry, development strategies and market prospects for China’s rose value-added processing industry, an analysis of Chinese rose products and markets, and techniques and innovations in the sector. Application deadline: September 4, 2026.
The Seminar on Smart Agriculture will be held in China in the period October 26 – November 11, 2026. The working language of the seminar will be English. The following cities are currently included in the programme of the seminar: Beijing; Ningbo, Zhejiang Province; Hangzhou, Zhenjiang Province. According to the tentative programme of the seminar, the following modules will be part of the seminar: lectures and courses, including topics such as: China’s international agricultural development cooperation; application, promotion, existing challenges and follow-up plans of smart agriculture in key industries; protected agriculture; agricultural IoT engineering and intelligent equipment; application of AI technologies in agricultural production, etc.
