On November 24, 2017 was opened the first “E-Commerce Logistics Hub and Pavilion for Agricultural and other Products” in Trakia Economic Zone, Plovdiv City, Bulgaria.
The initiative to build the facility, supported by the Heads of Government of China and the CEE countries, belongs to APACCCEEC, under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Bulgaria, in cooperation with the Trakia Economic Zone (TEZ). The aim is to deepen the cooperation between China and the CEE countries and to assist manufacturers from those countries to market their products in China. “E-Commerce Logistics Hub and Pavilion for Agricultural and other Products” – Bulgaria is located near the city of Plovdiv, in the orbit of the Trakia Economic Zone (TEZ), particularly in the Maritza Industrial Zone, which extends on an area of 5 000 000 m2.
The Logistics Hub provides a full range of services required for international trade:
- Supply chain management services;
- Logistics of samples;
- Sample storage facilities;
- Direct contact with the customs authorities in China to facilitate the import process;
- A demonstration pavilion for promoting and exhibiting products.
