On November 24, 2017 was opened the first “17+1 E-Commerce Logistics Hub and Pavilion for Agricultural and other Products” in Trakia Economic Zone, Plovdiv City, Bulgaria.
The initiative to build the facility, supported by the Heads of Government of China and the CEE countries, belongs to APACCCEEC, under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry of the Republic of Bulgaria, in cooperation with the Trakia Economic Zone (TEZ). The aim is to deepen the cooperation between China and the CEE countries and to assist manufacturers from those countries to market their products in China. “17+1 E-Commerce Logistics Hub and Pavilion for Agricultural and other Products” – Bulgaria is located near the city of Plovdiv, in the orbit of the Trakia Economic Zone (TEZ), particularly in the Maritza Industrial Zone, which extends on an area of 5 000 000 m2.
The Logistics Hub provides a full range of services required for international trade:
- Supply chain management services;
- Logistics of samples;
- Sample storage facilities;
- Direct contact with the customs authorities in China to facilitate the import process;
- A demonstration pavilion for promoting and exhibiting products.

“17+1 E-Commerce Logistics Hub and Pavilion for Agricultural and other products” – Yantian Port, Shenzhen, PRC is the analogue of the “17+1 Logistics Hub and Pavilion for agriculture and other products” – Bulgaria. A Framework Agreement was signed between the APACCCEEC and “Shenzhen Yantian Port Group Co. Ltd” for cooperation in the field of e-commerce logistics and exhibitions.
The function of the Logistics Hub is to serve as an entry point for products coming from Central and Eastern Europe to the Chinese market. The logistics hub has the following features:
- Located and integrated in the Modern Logistics Center at Free
the commercial area of Yentien Port, Shenzhen, PRC;
- Strategic location due to the proximity of the Logistics Hub to the three
Chinese economic centers – Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Macao;
- Well-developed marine, air and land-based infrastructure
- Demonstration space covering 1400 m2, equipped with 400 m2
warehouse space and 100,000 m2 of storage space for the daily work needs of the Logistics Hub. The showroom is equipped with showcases, display shelves, TVs and other media displays that can be used to present product samples as well as promotional material provided by the manufacturer.
