Bulgaria actively cooperates with China in the implementation of the Chinese initiatives “The Economic Belt of the Silk Road and the Sea Silk Road of the 21st Century” / “One Belt, One Road” / and the Initiative for Cooperation between China and the CEE countries. Bulgaria is jointly seeking opportunities for synergies between One Belt, One Road, the 16 + 1 Initiative, the EU-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, the EU-China Agenda 2020, including by actively promoting practical cooperation through pilot projects within the EU-China Connectivity Platform, the Investment Plan for Europe and the Enlarged Trans-European Network (TEN-T).

Since its inception, APACCCEEC has been actively developing several projects.

Academy for Entrepreneurship in Agriculture
APACCCEEC is establishing the first Academy of Entrepreneurship in Agriculture in Bulgaria and in the CEE countries.
Accelerator Program for start-ups in the field of agriculture between China and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe
APACCCEEC begins the implementation of the pilot project “Accelerator Program for start-ups in the field of agriculture between China and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe”, which will be held in the period March 27 – April 1, 2023 in Sofia Tech Park, Bulgaria.
Project: “Catalogue for good practices in the trade between the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and China”
The APACCCEEC gathers information about good practices in the trade with China. The information is analysed and shared with companies and branch organisations from Central and Eastern Europe. The results are increased awarness about the Chinese market and its practices.
E-COMMERCE LOGISTICS HUB AND PAVILION FOR AGRICULTURAL AND OTHER PRODUCTS
On November 24, 2017, the first "16 + 1 Logistics Hub and Pavilion for e-commerce with agricultural and other products" was opened in the Trakia Economic Zone, Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
DEMONSTRATION ZONE OF AGRICULTURAL COOPERATION BETWEEN CHINA AND THE CEE COUNTRIES
The “16+1 Demonstration Zone of Agricultural Cooperation between China and the CEE Countries” is a project for agricultural technology cooperation between China and the CEE countries.
PLATFORM FOR CONSOLIDATION OF AGRICULTURAL AND OTHER PRODUCERS FROM CHINA AND CEE COUNTRIES
The platform itself does not "trade" electronically but consolidates producers - it is a digital logistics hub for agricultural and other products from Central and Eastern Europe and China.
YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS
The young people and students in Bulgaria are prepared and motivated to bring the country to the international trading arena in the field of agriculture.
NATIONAL PAVILIONS
APAC continues to work in assisting the opening of national pavilions of the 16 CEE countries in free trade zones in China.
Liaison Office of APACCCEEC & CEEC Pavilion – Ningbo, China
The Liaison office and CEEC Permanent Pavilion of the APACCCEEC is located in the China (Ningbo) – Central and Eastern European Countries Youth Innovation Center.

The Seventh Summit of the Cooperation Mechanism between China and the CEE countries was held on July 7, 2018 in Sofia.
