/ Meeting between APACCCEEC and Belt and Road Collaborative Innovation Center (BRCIC)

On May 5, 2018 in Shanghai, an official ceremony was held for the signing of “Agreement between the Association for the Promotion of Agricultural Cooperation between China and the CEE Countries (APACCCEEC) and Belt & Road Collaborative Innovation Center (BRCIC) ” and “Agreement on Establishing a Liaison Office of the Association for the Promotion of Agricultural Cooperation between China and the CEE Countries (APACCCEEC) in Belt & Road Collaborative Innovation Center (BRCIC) “. The agreements were signed by Mr Vasil Gelev, Executive Director of APACCCEEC and Ms Lu Zhang, Chairwoman of the Belt & Road Collaborative Innovation College (BRCIC) and Qingdao Feichuan Investment Co., Limited.

Mr Vasil Gelev (APACCEEC) and Ms Lu Zhang (BRCIC) stressed the importance of encouraging the use of existing instruments, the digital economy and the development of logistics in China and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and agreed in this regard:

– to engage more Chinese main seaports, logistics centers, logistics companies, warehouses and other third country service companies in the development of the agricultural digital economy of the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.

– to engage more Chinese channels for import, export, distribution, retailing and e-commerce in promoting trade in agricultural and other products between China and the CEECs.

– to develop the digital industry in the agriculture of the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, to stimulate the development of the digital industry in the CEE countries

– to promote the transition from Internet + to traditional companies from the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and digital innovation companies

– promote e-commerce for agricultural and other products between China and the CEECs.

Taking into account the aforementioned fields of negotiated cooperation, APACCCEEC and BRCIC (Qingdao Feichuan Investment Co., Limited) voiced their intention to take the following actions:

– to support the creation and development of the “16+1 E-Commerce Logistics Hub and Pavilion for Agricultural and other Products” in China and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.

– to promote cooperation in the development of the pilot project “16+1 E-Commerce Logistics Hub and Pavilion for Agricultural and other Products” – Plovdiv, Bulgaria with the companies established in China and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.

– to build and to further develop and promote the “16+1 E-Commerce Logistics Hub and Pavilion for Agricultural and other Products” – as a complete G2B2C2C platform for cross-border B2B, local B2B, B2C, payment, logistics, community C2C and online live education, etc.
