/ APACCCEEC and BCCI discussed opportunities for cooperation

December 9, A meeting between the President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Tsvetan Simeonov and the Director of APACCEEC Dr. Momchil Stanishev was held. The main points of interest during the meeting were opportunities for cooperation and the ongoing projects of the Association.

The President of the BCCI stated that China is an important partner for our country.A few days earlier a meeting was held with representatives of the world’s fourth largest banking institution in the world, Bank of China, part of the Romanian branch of the bank, that is also in charge for their Bulgarian operations.In this regard, certain projects of the APACCEEC aimed at expanding and deepening trade and economic relations between China and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe are of interest to the Chamber.

The Director of APACCCCEC presented in detail two of its projects on which the Center is currently actively working – the 16plus1Cloud platform and the 16+1 Unified Warehouse Stock System, related to e-commerce with China.  Consequently, the possibility of joining forces with the international organization GS1, which has branches in both China and Bulgaria, was considered.

In addition, the President of the BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov expressed interest in the upcoming initiative of APACCCCEC for participation in the 11th Balkan International Wine Exhibition and Competition, as well as the possibility of cooperation in the field of apiculture with China. The potential cooperation with the Agricultural Academy on projects for the creation of new varieties of seeds and their subsequent export to China was also discussed.
