15.01.2019 / A delegation from Shaanxi province get acquainted with the APAC’s Logistics hub and Pavilion in Plovdiv
A delegation from the Chinese province of Shaanxi, led by Wei Zengjun, Vice Governor, People’s Government of Shaanxi province, was welcomed by Vasil Gelev, Executive Director of the Association for the Promotion of Agricultural Cooperation between China and CEE Countries (APACCCEEC). On January 15, he acquainted the guests with the “16+1 eCommerce Logistics Hub Pavilion for Agricultural and other Products” in Plovdiv and presented the electronic Platform for consolidation of producers from China and the CEE countries www.16plus1cloud.org.
The possibility of establishing a partner logistics hub on the territory of the largest city in Shaanxi was discussed. Xian is considered as the beginning of the ancient Silk Road and important point of the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping ‘s Initiative “One Belt, One Road”. Vasil Gelev and the members of the Chinese delegation commented on the possible shortcuts to establish a lasting relationship between Bulgaria and companies in the Shaanxi province. The goal is to implement real projects to promote the agricultural cooperation in the “16+1” format.
The Bulgarian side received an invitation for Bulgarian companies to participate in The Fourth Silk Road Exhibition and the Investment and Trade Forum for Cooperation between East and West China. Organizers of The International Expo, which will take place from 11th till 15th of May 2019, are the government of Shanxi province and Xian Municipality.
The Deputy Governor of the city of Plovdiv Petar Petrov participated in the meeting.
