July 6, 2018 – APACCCEEC signed an agreement for the development of the “16+1 eCommerce Logistics Hub and Pavilion for Agricultural and other Products” in China and the CEEC countries with the leading Chinese logistics company S.F. EXPRESS CO., LTD
The agreement reached on June 14, 2018 in Shenzhen, PRC to draft a joint declaration and a memorandum of understanding between APACCCEEC and the logistic giant S.F.EXPRESS led to successful termination and in the beginning of July managers from the Chinese company visited Bulgaria. Vasil Gelev, Executive Director of the Association for the Promotion of Agricultural Cooperation between China and the Central and Eastern European Countries (APACCCEEC), welcomed Ms Grace Long (Long Xiaomin), Head of overseas fulfillment at S.F. EXPRESS CO., LTD. и Mr Alex Wang(Wang Jichun), General Manager of West Europe Region at S.F. EXPRESS CO., LTD. Negotiations have been held to finalize the signing of the agreements, as well as meetings organized by the Association with representatives from the largest logistics companies in Bulgaria. The conversations, which were mediated by Vasil Gelev, caused great interest both from the Bulgarian and the Chinese side and agreed to cooperate on the implementation of the APACCCEEC’s project
On July 6, 2018 the cooperation agreement between APACCCEEC and S.F.EXPRESS for the further development of the “16+1 eCommerce Logistics Hub and Pavilion for Agricultural and other Products” - Plovdiv in China and the CEEC countries, during official ceremony was signed. The ceremony took place during the Seventh Summit of Heads of Governments of CEEC and China and was held at the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry of the Republic of Bulgaria.
The parties agreed to further support the development of the “16+1 e-Commerce Logistics Hub and Pavilion for Agricultural and other Products” Project in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, the other CEE countries and China, by developing of SF Express logistics network and handling capability in CEE countries; to link and connect existing eCommerce platforms of S.F.EXPRESS with the “16+1 Digital e-Commerce Logistics Hub and Pavilion for Agricultural and other Products” - /www.16plus1cloud.org/, as a comprehensive G2B2C2C platform for cross-border B2B, local B2B, B2C, community C2C, payment, logistics.
The joint efforts of the Association for the Promotion of Agricultural Cooperation between China and S.F.EXPRESS will consist of regular exchanges of best practices, sharing information on e-commerce logistics developments and challenges, and the promotion of knowledge-building and sharing in relation to the commonly identified issues.
